Structure
UDWA comprises three organs, namely the General Assembly, the Board of Directors and the Secretariat.
General Assembly
This is the supreme governing body, responsible for formulating policy and safeguarding the organisation. Among other tasks, the General Assembly elects the Board of Directors, reviews the Constitution, considers any amendments thereto, and considers plans and reports from the Board.
The Board of Directors
This is the executive authority, responsible for monitoring, coordination of activities and implementation of decisions and policies made by the General Assembly. UDWA has a board of 5 members with experience in legislation, policy development, financial management and implementation of programmes.
Secretariat
This is the executing organ of policies and decisions made by the Board. It is responsible for the day-to-day running of the organization, and manages the organization’s projects and pro-grammes. The Executive Director heads the Secretariat, and he/she reports to the Board of Di-rectors.

Miss Drajo Florence Wazemwa
Executive Director
Florence plays a crucial role in steering ,managing and carrying out UDWA’S mission according to the strategic direction of a board of directors. Her position involves strategic planning ,program development and overseeing the implementation of initiatives that promote social inclusion ,Education and health services. Outside work, she enjoys serving the Lord.
Nantume Cathy
Deputy Executive Director
Cathy is good at formulating policies and providing organisation’s direction within guidelines set up by a board of directors. She is a realist .
Mr. Waiswa Alex
Program Coordinator
Alex designs ,implements and evaluate programs that support the needs of women and girls. Devoted reader of stories concerning marginalized communities
Miss Nangozi josephine
Finance Manager
Oversees our end-to-end finance operations, financial planning and analysis, make improvements to procedures and controls. She absolutely wants to dance and travel.
Nakaziba Sumayah
Field Officer
Sumayah manages trainings, do regular field visits and provide handholding support to community mobilizers, whenever necessary. Her love of being in front of the camera as a fledgling actress and model is legendary .
Mbabazi Edmund
Head of fundraising -Canada
Edmund is a dedicated person based in Canada who provide the necessary vision, leadership, and fundraising skills which enables the organisation to achieve its mission, fundraising targets and organisational development programme. Outside work he loves learning new skills in table tennis.
Mr Makumbi Joseph
Business Development Officer
Joseph handles a full spectrum of back-end functions related to business opportunities to pursue and create business proposals to support our mission. He considers himself a huge foodie and loves cooking new recipes.
Namukwaya Christine
Social Worker
Christine assess and address the needs of individuals, families and groups, advocating for their rights always .she always wants to be in African print designing and abstract painting.
Nabanda Maureen
Head of fundraising - USA
Praise the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ! Our interventions have enabled significant improvements in the general wellbeing of our beneficiaries in both spiritual and emotional aspects! We bless the Lord for this. Maureen plays a pivotal role of spreading Udwa’s mission in USA. She conducts fundraising targets and development programme . She is a bible person and loves singing gospel music
