Enhancing Opportunities for Women with Disabilities Our Empowerment of Disabled Women program is committed to providing the tools and resources necessary for women with disabilities to thrive economically and socially. We believe in fostering an inclusive society that recognizes and supports the capabilities of all individuals.
This program offers vocational and entrepreneurial skills training to empower women with the skills needed for self-sufficiency. We provide start-up support, extension services, and market linkages for income-generating activities (IGAs).
Additionally, we support access to formal education through scholarships and bursaries, ensuring that educational opportunities are available to children with disabilities and those of women with disabilities, emphasizing the importance of education in overcoming barriers.
Our holistic approach aims to empower women with disabilities and create a more equitable society for all. To further enhance their quality of life, we assist in constructing accessible homes and promote awareness on inclusion, equity, and stigma..
We also support disabled drama groups to raise
awareness about their rights and capabilities, fostering community engagement and understanding.
